I am a psychiatrist living in New Paltz, New York, USA. My professional activities include a part-time private practice in psychiatry, and a nearly full-time position as staff psychiatrist at Ulster County Mental Health Center in Kingston, NY. I have spent some professional time in the past developing psychiatric applications for the Problem Knowledge Coupler system. My fields of interest are psychopharmacology, family therapy, the use of computers in psychiatry, and cybernetics .

 The remainder of my personal life is taken up by my family and interests including jazz, bicycling, yoga, and science fiction including Star Trek.

Ø I have posted a slideshow/music video that I made, summarizing my experience of two trips volunteering in relief and reconstruction work in the New Orleans area. I kept a blog while I was there to keep family and friends informed of what I saw and did.
