New Year 2010

This a pivotal year for this family. My personal life underwnet a major change as an eagerly awaited retirement started, and everyone else had a major change. May was the month in which it all happened at once:

I retired.

Liz got her Ph.D. in Nursing Research from University of Connecticut.

Irene graduated Magna Cum Laude from Emerson College, in Theatre Design/Technology.

Jennifer was awarded a National Science Foundation Fellowship to continue her research and finish her Ph.D. in Astronomy at The Ohio State University.

Thereupon followed a summer of parties, car shows, bicycling, and Star Trek.
