Clifton Park Elks Car Show

One more show for the season in my area. This was a little smaller than most. By now I am getting pretty bored with muscle cars, so here are a few things I found interesting:

This guy had a Cobra that was aspecial edition with a special paint that appeared green, purple, blue, or black depending on what angle you viewed it from. Pictures do not do it justice.

It also had an engine signed by the builders who would supposedly get busted back to uniion scale mechanics if there were any problems with it. Not likely, since the owner was afraid to drive it anywhere except car shows.

This convinced me that in this world, less is not more. I have learned from this not to listen to Liz when she says something I am adding is "too much."

I had a fair amount a interaction with the common folk. I was explaining how a hybrid worked to one woman, and she asked if a car like this was available to the general public. I gave her the Toyota Prius promo and explained how it was available at her local Toyota dealer. Much education remains to be done.
